Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Download Free by G&S

SQL Server 2005 (codename Yukon), released in October 2005, is the successor to SQL Server 2000. It included native support for managing XML data, in addition to relational data. For this purpose, it defined an xml data type that could be used either as a data type in database columns or as literals in queries. XML columns can be associated with XSD schemas; XML data being stored is verified against the schema. XML is converted to an internal binary data type before being stored in the database. Specialized indexing methods were made available for XML data. XML data is queried using XQuery; Common Language Runtime (CLR) integration was a main feature with this edition, enabling one to write SQL code as Managed Code by the CLR. SQL Server 2005 added some extensions to the T-SQL language to allow embedding XQuery queries in T-SQL. In addition, it also defines a new extension to XQuery, called XML DML, that allows query-based modifications to XML data. SQL Server 2005 also allows a database server to be exposed over web services using TDS packets encapsulated within SOAP (protocol) requests. When the data is accessed over web services, results are returned as XML.
For relational data, T-SQL has been augmented with error handling features (try/catch) and support for recursive queries with CTEs (Common Table Expressions). SQL Server 2005 has also been enhanced with new indexing algorithms, syntax and better error recovery systems. Data pages are checksummed for better error resiliency, and optimistic concurrency support has been added for better performance. Permissions and access control have been made more granular and the query processor handles concurrent execution of queries in a more efficient way. Partitions on tables and indexes are supported natively, so scaling out a database onto a cluster is easier. SQL CLR was introduced with SQL Server 2005 to let it integrate with the .NET Framework.
SQL Server 2005 introduced "MARS" (Multiple Active Results Sets), a method of allowing usage of database connections for multiple purposes.
SQL Server 2005 introduced DMVs (Dynamic Management Views), which are specialized views and functions that return server state information that can be used to monitor the health of a server instance, diagnose problems, and tune performance.
SQL Server 2005 introduced Database Mirroring, but it was not fully supported until the first Service Pack release (SP1). In the initial release (RTM) of SQL Server 2005, database mirroring was available, but unsupported. In order to implement database mirroring in the RTM version, you had to apply trace flag 1400 at startup.
Database mirroring is a high availability option that provides redundancy and failover capabilities at the database level. Failover can be performed manually or can be configured for automatic failover. Automatic failover requires a witness partner and an operating mode of synchronous (also known as high-safety or full safety).

Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended Portable by G&S

Adobe Photoshop CS5 is here and we tested the latest version to give you an exclusive review of all the cool, new functions. We hereby present you the highlights of Adobe´s CS5 Suite.

Gallery: The Cool New Features Of Photoshop CS5
Adobe really improved Photoshop CS5 and introduced some new features like content aware, HDR-toning, new zoom functions and new transformation- and drawing-tools. For all Mac users there is a Photoshop CS5 64-bit version now.

System requirements:

Windows:
Windows XP (Service Pack 3) Vista (Service Pack 2) or Windows 7, Intel Pentium 4 or AMD Athlon 64 processor, 1GByte RAM, 1GB of free hard-disk space, screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher, grahics card with 256MByte VRAM, Shader Model 3.0 recommended, QuickTime 7.6.2, DVD-device.

Macintosh:
Mac OS X 10.5.7, Multicore Intel processor, 1GByte RAM, 2GByte of free hard-disk space, screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher, graphics card with 256MByte VRAM, Shader Model 3.0 recommended, QuickTime 7.6.2, DVD-device.

Adobe Photoshop CS4 Portable by G&S

Adobe Photoshop CS4 have more impresive features, especially in the workspace. And while some of them, like the new Application Frame, will take some getting used to (and are optional), they’re changes that are long overdue. Each new version has piled new tools on top of old, and important bits and pieces were getting lost in the shuffle. In fact, you’re liable to see several “new” tools in Photoshop CS4 that aren’t really new at all (like the Hand and Zoom tools); they’ve merely clawed their way back to the surface after being buried. As a result, a few tools have been cut (stay tuned to find out which ones).

There’s no shortage of new features either. Photoshop CS4 takes advantage of OpenGL—a hardware and software engine for drawing graphics faster and more efficiently—to render some very slick and useful screen effects like Rotate View, pixel tossing (called Flick Panning), dynamic brush resizing, and more. Also making its first, tentative steps in CS4 is a new technology called seam carving, the engine behind the new Content-Aware Scaling tool that intelligently resizes your images so your focal point remains unchanged. Along with it comes a real 3-D engine, new Masks and Adjustments panels, selective editing in Camera Raw, and more. What’s missing in this release, however, is 64-bit compatibility—the means by which Photoshop can handle files greater than 4GB in size.

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Portable by G&S

CS3 included several programs, including Dreamweaver, Flash, and Fireworks that were developed by Macromedia, a former rival acquired by Adobe in 2005. It also included Adobe OnLocation and Adobe Ultra that were developed by Serious Magic, also a firm acquired by Adobe in 2006.

Adobe dropped the following programs (that were previously included in CS2) from the CS3 software bundles:

1 Adobe GoLive (replaced by Adobe Dreamweaver)
2 Adobe ImageReady (merged into Adobe Photoshop and replaced by Adobe Fireworks)
3 Adobe Audition (replaced by Adobe Soundbooth)

Adobe had announced that it would continue to develop Audition as a standalone product, while GoLive had been discontinued. Adobe GoLive 9 was released as a standalone product on June 10, 2007. Adobe Audition 3 was announced as a standalone product on September 6, 2007. Adobe had discontinued ImageReady and had replaced it with Fireworks, with some of ImageReady's features integrated into Photoshop.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 Portable by G&S

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is used generally by professionals, because some of its functions require an advanced use. Nevertheless, many of its basic edition options are easy to understand; therefore, a beginner user also can obtain exceptional results.
Adobe Photoshop CS2 is provided with diverse tools, filters, effects and others, which allow to edit and create designs to be also used in the eb sites development.

In its new version, this application has incorporated a major stability and quality in each of its functions, so that the obtained results are even more professional.

Adobe Photoshop 7 Portable by G&S

The most impresive features in 7.0:

Photoshop now saves alpha transparency data in Targa files in the same way it did in previous versions.
If the color settings color management policy is set to "Off,"

Photoshop no longer asks to save changes unless other edits have been performed.
The total ink now defaults to 300% as it did in previous versions of Photoshop.
The color of white areas in CMYK files saved as JPEG files no longer shifts.

TIFF files with LZW compression are now written correctly.
Files made with Photoshop now work better with Microsoft Windows XP's automatic thumbnail generation.
Favorites now function correctly in the Open dialog box.
Picture Package no longer locks up when it encounters incorrect file types while using custom page layouts.
Metadata is better preserved in certain JPEG files.
Photoshop no longer appears frozen when applying KPT3 filters.
Photoshop now offers better compatibility with older Intelᆴ Pentium

III hardware.
Photoshop no longer produces a program error when resampling certain large 16-bit documents.
An issue that prevented Photoshop 6.0 from opening certain files containing layer effects and edited in Photoshop 7.0 has been fixed. The Maximize Backwards Compatibility for Photoshop Files preference now correctly sets the state of the Maximize Compatibility checkbox in the Photoshop Format Options dialog box when you save a file as
Photoshop (PSD) format.
